Dalby & District Veterinary Services is one of the expanding Apiam Animal Health group of regional and rural clinics that are committed to enriching the lives of animals, people, and communities.
Due to our clinic’s continued growth and restructure, we are expanding our services to the community. As such we are now seeking a companion animal veterinarian to join our team.
The Position:
- The overall practice mix is approximately 65% companion animals, 35% large animals.
- The mix for this role is negotiable however our preference is for 80-100% companion animals.
- No after hours is required for a 100% companion animal veterinarian.
- Vets work a 4-day week.
About You:
- Ideally you will have 2+ years’ experience in companion or mixed practice.
- New and recent graduates are also welcome to apply and will be well supported and mentored by the two clinical lead vets who each have 18 years’ experience, as well as a large team of experienced vets and nurses.

Location:
Located in Dalby, Qld, we provide veterinary care to pets, horses, and farm animals across the Western Darling Downs region. The clinic is a long established and busy mixed practice with a large team of experienced vets, veterinary nurses, and receptionists. We have branches at Bell, Jandowae and Tara. This means you can experience working in different clinics and locations within the region.
Dalby is a major regional commercial centre, the “Hub of the Darling Downs”. Within a rich agricultural area, Dalby offers all the expected services of a large town and is within easy access of Brisbane and Toowoomba.
Remuneration:
Remuneration is dependent on skills and experience however a vet with well-established companion animal skills can expect upwards of $90,000 + super.
