The position: 

• Full time position working 4 days per week with a shared roster for Saturday mornings
• No Sundays or afterhours work required!
• 100% companion animals or option to also see hobby farm patients, mostly small ruminants which are brought into clinic.
• Our case load consists of a variety of both medicine and surgery as well as the expected range of emergencies seen in country practice.
• We have a dedicated clientele willing to undertake diagnostics and management plans

About You: 

• It would be lovely if you have a few years’ experience however new and recent grads are also encouraged to apply. You will have daily support from the experienced vets and nurses who have a range of special interest areas.
• Most importantly, we seek a motivated team player who is eager to contribute – we love questions and suggestions and place a strong emphasis on open and clear communication.

The Clinic and Location: 

• The clinic is located in the center of Bannockburn so is close to a wonderful range of cafes, bakeries and small restaurants for your lunch breaks. Or if you prefer your own home prepared meals there is a kitchenette and dining area upstairs away from the clinic environment for you to have some time out.
• Bannockburn is just 15 minutes from Geelong, 45 minutes from Ballarat and under an hour to Melbourne. Alternatively, only a short drive to the beach or the Great Ocean Road.
• Our near-new clinic building is spacious and well appointed, boasting dedicated surgery and imaging rooms as well as separate dog and cat consultation rooms and hospital wards.
• The practice has all the expected equipment including a full IDEXX in-house laboratory suite, digital DR x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, surgery suite including anaesthetic monitors, blood pressure monitors, ECG and orthopaedic gear.
