The position
Lead Veterinarian – Fur Life Vet, Dubbo
Apiam Animal Health is seeking an experienced companion animal veterinarian for a leadership position at our busy mixed practice in Dubbo, New South Wales.
The Clinical Lead Veterinarian is a “hands on” senior role which includes mentorship of junior vets. You will be supported within the leadership team by the General Manager Operations North and your Clinic Coordinator.
Experience with all routine companion animal medicine and surgery is essential. An interest and skills in non-routine and orthopaedic surgery is preferred though not essential.
You will see an incredible variety of cases, typical of the work expected in a large rural centre. Our clients want high level patient care so you will be able to work up and treat cases thoroughly.
We will consider a mixed vet or companion/equine vet for this role.
There is no after hours on call requirement in this position.
Formal leadership training will form part of your development plan.
As part of Apiam Animal Health – Australia’s largest rural and production animal veterinary group – we offer considerable opportunities for training, personal development and career progression.
