Position Summary:

• This is a “hands-on” clinical role in a team of 8 veterinarians and 10 support staff in the major growing rural city of Warragul.
• The clinic mix is 70% companion animal, 20% dairy cattle and 10% horses and other farm animals.
• This position is suited to a veterinarian wishing to work 100% companion animals or a mixed role with minimum 90% companion animals.
• Full time position worked as a 4-day week or 5 day week if you prefer.
• No on-call is required.
• Join the local management team, responsible for directing clinical operations.
• Mentor, train and support recently graduated veterinarians, including new graduates, and support staff
• Together with the local management team including your Clinic Coordinator and Regional Coordinator, you will participate in business planning, budgeting and development of your team’s skills.

The successful applicant will be a vet who:

• Has at least 5 years of experience in a companion animal or mixed clinic.
• Has experience with, or is ready to step up to, leading a team.
• Leads by example and has a positive “can-do” approach.
• Enjoys working with people as much as animals.

Remuneration:

• $140,000 pa + superannuation
